🚧 UPCOMING ROAD CLOSURE 🚧
An expected closure is scheduled for Centennial Avenue from Garrison to Grand Avenue in the coming days.
Please plan accordingly and use alternate routes as needed. We appreciate your understanding.

Red, White, and Boom Parking
For the smoothest parking experience at Red, White, and Boom, please follow these recommended routes:
• General Parking: Enter from the south side of Municipal Park via W. Macon Street.
• Handicap Parking: Enter from the north side on W. Oak Street for designated accessible parking.
Please follow the posted signage and staff directions when you arrive. We’re looking forward to a great Fourth of July celebration!

No Changes to Trash & Recycling Pickup for the Holiday
Republic Services will operate on a normal schedule this week — even through the holiday. Please check their website https://www.republicservices.com/schedule if you downloaded the schedule before June 23, as it may have been updated.

In observance of Independence Day, all City of Carthage offices will be closed on Friday, July 4th. Please be advised that one of our Taxis is currently out of service. At this time, we have only one wheelchair-accessible van available for service. We understand the importance of accessible transportation and are working diligently to have the vehicle back in operation as soon as possible. The City of Carthage will conduct mosquito spraying Monday through Friday, June 23–27, between 8:00 p.m. and midnight. Spraying will take place on your regular trash pickup day during the evening hours. Important Tips for Residents: Please turn off attic or window fans when the sprayer is in your immediate area. In case of rain, spraying will be rescheduled and completed during the following week. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep Carthage safe and comfortable this season.
